The new certificates
The Senior Management at METALSHIPS considers that an Integrated Management System, associated to the different activities developed by METALSHIPS, as well the protection of the involved parties, means, assets and premises, are essential factors for the company’s well being and success.
As a result, in December 2021 we renewed our commitment with our philosophy and successfully passed the external audit for this Renewal of our Quality, Environment and Occupational Risk Prevention Integrated Management System, carried out by the LRQA Classification Society.
The new certificates ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 will have a validity period of 3 years, from the 23rd of February, 2022 until the 22nd of February, 2025, and their scope is applicable to the activities of construction, conversions and repairs of steel and aluminium vessels.
However this is not all, our commitment pretends to go a step further and encourage our suppliers and visitors to adopt the standards in METALSHIPS, enabling our customers to actively take part in finding solutions to potential obstacles they may encounter in these areas.
